Fruit Storage in a TC

This thread has got me thinking about what to do in my new van fit-up. I like the idea of attaching basket/s to the wall. How about those folding baskets used on the rear of bicycles? Out of the way when not needed.

I've considered mounting a basket on the wall, left of the range hood. Not sure I want it there permanently though, so I just toss the fruit into a bowl and into the sink for now.

Often we use a cooler. Recently we packed our raspberries, blueberries and other fruit in the fridge in store bought plastic containers. When we opened the door to the fridge that night we had raspberry juice running all over. They had liquified during the ride. The rest of the fruit was OK. First time I remember that happening. But, we packed the next fruit more carefully and no more mishaps during the trip.

We use a cooler. Keep it on the floor while traveling. Outside when at camp.

We use these at home and on the road, in the fridge. Really seems to help keep fruit fresher longer. Blue Apple

We have the same issue, use the sink and basket and it works for us.

Anything that moves is going to give you juice and bruised fruit. Get some baskets and attach to something. Those metal drawers made out of wire are great.

How about those 3-tiered wire hanging baskets? (Again, if they won't hit stuff.)
