Full hook up?
We are off soon on a trip and the camping site we are using has full hookups. Power and water will be great. It'll be 4 of us for 4 nights. 2 adults and 2 kids. A couple questions around the s...

While most of my trips are only 2 nighters what I hook up depends on where I am and the time of the year.
During the summer months I usually camp in places without any hookups. There are no shower facilities and usually no in campground water. Usually only a decrept pit/vault toilet available. (NO there is no showering going on ether inside or outside the camper)
In the winter months all the campgrounds mentioned above are usually closed 'for the season' leaving only ones that have full hookups, shower and flush toilet facilities. While I'll 'plug in' so I can heat the camper with their power, since I'm used to carrying my own water I've actually never used the 'city water connection' on my camper and will wait until shortly before leaving to hook up the sewer to dump the black and then the grey tanks. (to help clean the hose)
Over the years there have been a few times where the campground water stopped working and lots of RV's picked up and left because of it.
