I once was heading out of Ouray Co heading south out of town. Don't recall road or grade but it was very steep for a flatlander. A deer ran across in front. I hit the brakes 4 wheel antilock disks all around. I had the lance 815 with a light GF. It seemed like nothing happened, like I had no brakes. Just missed the deer. I later did a full brake on flat ground and everything was working good. When I got home I took it to my buddies shop he cleaned everything up and said they were so dirty they could have stuck a little but not likely. That was an 01 I know for sure the 2011s have much better braking.
