Doesn't matter if you use synthetic oil or regular oil, contaminates and fuel dilution will be the same. Use the oil life monitoring system and I'll bet it will call for a change well before 14,000 miles if you tow a lot. Send a sample to Blackstone Labs and they will give you a good idea of oil change frequency.
