Jim, With the EGR systems required on the newer diesels, I don't support extended change intervals beyond the 14 or 15 miles recommended, and only then if I change the filter at around 7 K miles. All that said, I deleted the EGR and will go 30K miles with filter changes at 7 K miles or so! I do recommend a periodic oil analysis! memtb
