If cost is a consideration, head to central Florida where full time rates are lower. But wherever you look, you need to visit the campground/resort personally. On our recent Florida trip, we checked out 3 rv resorts in Fort Myers and they were very crowded with small sites. We stayed at the Sunshine RV Resort just south of Lake Placid (which is south of Sebring) and it is a nice park with reasonable rates. But there are sooo many parks in Florida and they range from really dumpy to very nice, so you have to really look carefully. Beware of parks that don't show pics of their RV sites....usually means their crowded and small.
