Can't quite wrap my head around the idea of refusing a dually, but carrying a truck camper and also towing a large travel trailer. Bedlams idea sounds the most reasonable to me if I had 300K to spend on camping. One problem with the large TC though is I am not sure you are going to fit a 50" 4K big screen inside. The trailer would allow you to tow your batteries, but if there was a length restriction in the national parks and you were longer it would mean leaving the big screen TV behind.
I never owned big vehicles before. The largest I guess was Toyota Sienna many years ago when my kids were babies. :)
I'm just looking around downtown Toronto. Most regular sized pickups take up all the space you can take on most parking lots. Even a long bed variety looks quite bad. Extra width of dually really looks quite daunting. I know that baby won't fit into my current car lot allocated to my unit.
We plan to visit our children and also big cities during our travel.
