I saw a woman driving a dually and towing a large horse trailer on a narrow downtown Tacoma street. I got passed her.
When I circled the block, she had that rig parallel parked at the curb!
It is my belief that one can learn the tricks of driving a big vehicle and that an apprehensive fear is the biggest obstacle to handling a dually.
It is my thought that you are limiting your better vehicle choices based on visiting Toronto?
Part of it yes, since we will live nearby 5 months per year in camp sites. We will have to come to the church once a week when we are nearby and driving into and parking it in the parking lot sounds scary to say the least... lol. More we think about our situation, more scenarios we can think of places where a dually would be problematic. Not impossible but it does make my life more difficult.
But I do admit I can probably get used to it after driving it for some time.
