The 'lever' changes porting from cylinder to cylinder for the GREEN/RED Indicator
On ours the lever selects what tank to use or so the dealer told us when we picked it up. If it's true or not I have no idea as we've not used our first bottle. We don't have a green indicator just red and not red.
