Boy, post like this sure make me happy to live in the rural Midwest. It is quite boring around here but, I never have to worry about something like this. Hope you can find it. And, as for passing the leads on to the detectives I think you need to follow up on them yourself. Around here when occasionally something does happen the cops just fill out a report and stick it in a drawer.
