I ended up removing the screen on the end of my kitchen sink faucet. I got tired of the slow stream. Removed it and never had a problem again. Yes, they can get clogged. Mostly the clogging is due to the deterioration of the anode rod in the water heater. Those flakes will get trapped in the screen and clog it up. It's not dirty or polluted water or bad campground water. And if your water heater does not have an anode rod, it could be simple lime build-up on the screen. Either way, remove it and see if the flow is better.
