I have had nothing but trouble with all 3 Garmins I purchased over the past 4 years. I will never buy anohter one. Every single one locks up and freezes and when I update the software it makes them worse. Not to mention that if you don;t buy the model that allows updates for free you'll have to pay 70 -100 dollars for an update. Just horrible garbage products in my opinion. Their cusomter service was horrible too!, I hope you have better luck...
Sorry to hear you have had so many issues. If you follow GPS discussions/forums all makers have some issues, but Garmin certainly appears to have the fewest - ken07734ExplorerI have had nothing but trouble with all 3 Garmins I purchased over the past 4 years. - ZeeLet50ExplorerI have to standard issue 760 in my work van. Does well. I like the lane guidance feature and posted MPH indicators. I wanted the output jack so I could plug into my radio as I used it as Bluetooth option for phone at one time. As with all Garmin's, sometimes it takes you on a strange route when you know there is a better way. its thicker than the new ones but to me that means it will stand up to abuse better.
- n7bsnExplorerSince it isn't due to ship for a couple weeks yet, I suspect you will have to wait for real opinions.
But my understanding is that is very similar to the Dezl 760 LMT, just with more RV stuff and no commercial truck stuff
