That's a clean tune? ROTFLMAO
This was the statement I disagreed with:Wilber1 wrote:And
What! Throw more fuel in without pumping more air and all you get is black smoke from unburned fuel. You do realize that nothing will burn without oxygen.Wilber1 wrote:Now, do you agree these statements or not?
The unburned fuel causing the smoke is helping cool the engine, not making power.
Can you have a powerful truck with a clean tune? Sure...........but it will be faster if it's burning more fuel. Hell, trucks with DPF's are powerful and they are very clean.
They are no cleaner that the non DPF trucks, they just have a DPF.:S
This Turtle. He is very right. Actually my truck is cleaner without the dpf then with. When I was doing magic to my truck, I fired it up in between dpf and new tunes and it looked like a Cummins with a plastic bag over the air filter. Haha dirty as hell. Now my stock tune is clean, no smoke at all, its been tweaked. Even my 120 tune is super clean. Sure it smokes a little before the turbo lights, but not intersection blacking out. It's more of a slight haze. 6dot6's truck is clean as well from what I have seen and its damn fast. I ran a LBZ with some PPE tunes(180 tune) and he was smoking something bad and I just ran my 60 horse tow tune, smokeless, and he ate his lunch. No comparison. If the tune does not clean up once the turbo lights there is something wrong.
