You didn't answer the question.
Why do manufactures put silly things like DPF's and SCR's on their engines when all they have to do is run your tune? You say your tune is cleaner than a DPF equipped engine.
Your exact words: " Actually my truck is cleaner without the dpf then with."
If true, just apply for the EPA stamp and your a billionaire overnight!!!! Let us know how that goes. I would be very interested because I have never met a billionaire in my life.
Didn't answer the question because I don't have an answer. But I do know when I took my DPF and started the truck and reved it up, it was dirty as hell on the GM stock tune. With my optimized stock tune from Kory, not my tuning, its smokeless. There is more timing in that tune and more vine position and a few other things. Kory pours his heart and soul into his work, that's why he is Number One in the industry. The guys at GM or Ford or Cummins get paid to do a job and that's what they do. Oh and yes my truck is cleaner without the DPF because it had failed and cracked. The EGR is also blocked, so that cleans it up a lot too. We do agree that you need more fuel for more power, but go at it different ways.
We all know the EPA does not care about the environment. All they want is our money. Face the facts.
