Just because the thing produces less soot and requires fewer regens doesn't necessarily mean that it is producing less pollution.
I really doubt they would go up. Biggest thing coming from the tail pipe would be NOx, and on the LML, current emissions standards, there really isn't any of that either. These things are freaking clean. They put out hot air and not much else.
