Gas engines in class c or b

Seems like most c's and b's run gassers. Also seems like they go up for sale around 50 to 60 k on the odometer.
So what is the experience out there. Is that all the engines have in them for longevity...around 50 to 60 k?

  • I think with the newer Ford or Chevy engines in a class B or C if maintained will go well over 100k miles. Your RV will probably fall apart before the drive train.
  • I have not heard of any issues with the gas versions. I guess people just trade up or down depending on what works for them. U can tow with some of these so you will need to look at the tow rating if u intend to pull a small utility or motorcycle trailer behind. I know someone that had a Mercedes version and it was crazy expensive when things needed service, but that was for the Diesel engine.
  • There are many class C’s based on the Sprinter chassis using a Diesel engine. As far as gas engines most newer ones can go and go and go.
  • This is not a 'tow vehicle', and double posting is frowned upon.
