Wow, that’s like the ‘08-‘10 Diesel trucks that were a huge pain in the neck. BTDT.
He should reconsider how much HP his compact tractor needs if he’s not farming. T4 Diesels less than 24 HP don’t use DEF, DPF or EGR. There are some very capable T4 compliant compacts with just under 24 HP that can handle loaders, backhoes, posthole diggers, etc. I’ve got a JD 1023E and use the heck out of it for loader and mowing work.
