The gas engine is a bus would be just fine I’m sure. And at the FD where I work, we haven’t purchased a diesel ambulance since 2014. The Ford V-10’s are working like a champ so far and get the **** ran out of them. However, they are only averaging about 4.5-5.5 mpg depending on which unit you look at. They are geared very low also. That V-10 LOVES to rev!
