Hardly. A new bus warranty is measured in weeks or months, not years like a pickup truck. Even if it had the same exact warranty terms, a bus will blow through the warranty mileage limit before the kids get their first report card of the year.
One lift pump failure blows any long-term savings right out the window.
Talk to any bus garage manager. They're not having a good time with the latest crop of diesels.
