Thanks for all the suggestions. I am surprised at all the plastic cans being used. My experiences with plastic have not been good. They all seem to "weep" gas around the cap and eventually leave a gas ring on the floor. That's why I was leaning towards the metal Jerry can or the metal Eagle type.
The problem with the Eagle type is the EPA nozzle system seems to be a lot more complicated than it needs to be.
Tom_M, your links to the green Jerry cans say that they are not for gas. Is that just to cover the law? I know that some states do not allow gas in any container that is not red.
