I'm trying to figure out which gas truck to buy. Chevy 2500 or f250. Are these the exact same? It looks on my research ford tow rating 12,300 and Chevy 13,000. Unless I'm reading it wrong. Has anyone ...

Either one will work for that size trailer. The GM will have standard 4.10 gearing, and the Ford 3.73. You can order the Ford with 4.30, if you think you need more towing capacity. Buy the one you like, can't go wrong with either!
