Both are great trucks, different styles but will do the job. I have the gmc 6.0, 09 model with 6 speeds. Really like this truck, So my take on it is that performance will be similar. There's no really right or wrong answer to your question. It really depends on which one you like better. So for me it would come down to which one gives me the better deal financially. Drive them both and pick the one best suites you. I think that most here on this board will tell you the same. Good luck and let us know which one you buy!
