Gas line
Does anyone know if steel braided gas lines are ok to use? I need to run new lines from the black pipe, and plan on using pre made stuff from menards. Thankyou

We have a long hose to our Coleman BBQ connected at the rear of our TT. I removed the regulator on it and have low pressure gas going directly to it. The flame is "lazy" at times so the long length of hose could explain that then?

Gas flex line is only good for home use with NG. it's only designed for use ins max 4 foot sections to hook up a home appliance. the smallest this line comes in is 1/2 inch dia. so using it on a longer run will decrease the psi leaving a lazy flame at the appliance your are fueling. the best way to run gas lines of any type is to get a proper sizing chart and go from there If it were my camper I would use copper line most likely a max size of 3/8" make sure it is labeled Type G for gas not ac, or water its easy to bend into position and will not deteriorate over time like water or ac copper.
