You may find an electronic copy of the owners manual more helpful at times as it allows you to search for keywords.
Please use tow haul mode. Page 405 says to do it when towing for specific reasons. You may also want to use the Electronic Range Select to limit the top most gear when towing. I suspect you'll be happy towing in the 2200-2500rpm range on flat ground at 65mph, so whatever gear that leaves you in is better than lugging in one gear lower.
