Depending on combination (TV and trailer) a gas tow vehicle will get 8-12 MPG when towing a box down the road. My current combo averages 10. A past combo ('03 Trailblazer and Jayco Kiwi 17a hybrid) got 12. That trailblazer dropped to 8 when I bought the X20E in my signature.
