Pulled boats for many years, now have a Rockwood Minilite 2014s. Pulled by Ford F150 Lariat. Gas mileage went from 16 mpg to 8mpg. Just want to see if this is about the average drop in mpg. Don't see ...

My boat gets 1 mpg at 10mph and travels where there are navigable waters contiguous with the Mississippi. My trailer/truck get >8mpg at >60mph wherever there are roads. This allows me to travel the continent in two modes, provided no death by GPS. At 60 mph >8mpg and able to stop for food fuel etc. I seldom complain about mileage towing. Have you ever spent a day watching levies on either side?
