On an approx. 3,000 mile trip last year in the NE of the USA, we got anywhere from 6.5 to 9.0. Averaged 7.5 overall. We go about 65 mph when on the expressway.
This year we went 4,600 miles on a trip to Montana and Wyoming from MI and due to vehicle issue we borrowed my parents 2006 2500HD with the Duramax and towing the same trailer got 10.5 mpg overall.
