well I screwed up thought there was water in the water heater ,fired it on gas and it ran for 2-3 minuntes.then nothing realized my mistake ,got the water valves turned on.went to refire nothing .swit...

Use caution when you get in there near the thermostats and high limit switches. The 120V thermostat and high limit switch have -- well -- 120 volts on them if you haven't turned off the breakers.
