Have any of you gas monkeys added a gas transfer tank so you don't have to stop every 200 miles or so when towing? I know auxiliary tanks are a no go for gas, but it would be nice to just be able ...

It's not as big a deal as you think unless I'm missing something.
A transfer tank is different then an auxiliary tank. A transfer tank is not plumbed into the OEM fuel system whereas an aux tank is. So you very well could have a DOT approved gasoline transfer tank.
I have an RDS aux diesel tank. They sell their auxiliary tanks for diesel use and their transfer tanks for either gas or diesel use.
