By listing 3.73 or 4.30 and the weight of your trailer I'm assuming you're looking at a DRW model. All things being equal, the 4.30 will perform better. Having said that, the 6.7 diesel has an almost insane amount of pulling power and should easily handle a 16K trailer with the 3.73.
