With more than a 1000 nights traveling I occassionally need to change oil and filters in my propane fueled Generac...
... strasngely enough Walmart has the filters...
When I am far from home I get my trucks oil changed at WalMarts if they have a high bay. I can stand in the door and watch them.
Wakmart uses the same oils and lubricants my dealer uses... and cost about 1/2 as much.
I have the mechanic drain my Generac Generator while he is draining the trucks engine. I tip the mechanic for the extra service since there is no charge.
The cross reference book that is in the filter section of the store has a section on the Generac generators. I purchase it and the quart of oil and hand them to the mechanic.
The WM computer doesn't have a "button" for generator oil changes...
I change out the air filter.
Propane fueled generators are very clean inside... I change the oil filter anyway.
Hope this helps.
