BTW, I'm not a fan of Jake turning on the brake lights. IMHO, those lights are to signal I'm slowing down. Most time my Jake comes on it is only to hold speed.
Well retired now, not likely to drive with Jake again. But million miles with no brake lights controlled by Jake, and the only time rear ended was going up a hill, knowing that the speed limit drops just over hill, traffic light at the bottom, and in a "No Jake Zone". Because I could not legally use the best brake for the other side of the hill I just eased up on the Cat, let the uphill and 130,000 lbs slow me down. Thought I had blown one of the 18 non-steering tires until I topped the hill and pulled off on shoulder, found the car wedged on trailer bumper.
