- The only one I would own is in the center for lowest noise.
- D_E_BishopExplorerIf the specs I read are correct, I'd dump all three and buy a Champion 2000.
Getting 131 pounds of generator out of a storage compartment is way beyond this 78 year old with a really bad back.
And if you want to follow the rhetoric, get the Honda 2000 - theoldwizard1Explorer II

I doubt that you can find a portable generator that is at least 50% US content. Honda makes a large quantity of their small engines in the US.
I don't know how you would find this out, but I would like to see how many small engines under 10HP Honda makes in the US versus, Briggs and Stratton or Kohler or any one else. - mat60ExplorerThe Honda for the times I need 3000 watts but I would not want to move that around anymore than I need to so Id use the 2000 watt generator and take that most of the time. Easy on gas, quiter and light. Im 57 so my thinking may be different than yours. I just got my first inverter generator and its only 2000 watts and its fine for my needs.
- HuntindogExplorerIF the Honda is an EU3000.... It is no contest.
If it is a 3000 Handi, then it depends on what you want to do with it. The Handi is not all that quiet, but will have more power than the Generac which SHOULD be quieter. Are you able to try them both?
BTW, don't even think about the other one. - KD4UPLExplorerI don't know anything about the politics behind Honda generators; don't really care too. Electrically and mechanically speaking they are some of the best made machines you could ever come across. I would say Yamaha is the only company that comes close in terms of quality.
I'd keep the Honda if you're only keeping one. - ScottGNomadHonda.
- Isaac-1ExplorerAre we playing, "One of these things is not like the others"?
Another vote for the Honda EU3000 - JimExplorerNot a fan of Honda's aggressive 'dumping' of products on the American market and their often recorded abusive anti-competition practices.
So either of the other generators would do. And crush the Honda with prejudice. - MfanExplorerDepends on the use. If it's just for looks, any of them. If you are going to use one, the red one.
