Even the handle looks nice. Say what you will but the Japanese can design and engineer well. If this was a US built product it would have a handle assembly that incorporated flimsy mounting brackets and a handle that would get in the way of everything,
And it's bloody quiet.
It will also power the AC in my trailer:) - westendExplorer

Since you just bought the Honda and the Generac doesn’t take up much room and is lighter, I’d keep them and sell the other as a rare and exotic piece of machinery. It must be, since I’ve never heard of it.
Campbell Hausfield ?
All they did was pair a Briggs and Stratton engine to a generator and put it on a rolling frame.
It's 20 years old with 17.6 hours on it!
Sorry, didn’t see the CH sticker. Just saw PowerReach. I’ve still got an ‘80s CH compressor.
I’ve got a Honda 2000 for the camper and a 6000W Makita for the house. - _1nobbyExplorerWell....I just sold the 4 year old Generac for $400.
Next up......the lawnmower generator.:):) - RayJaycoExplorer

No doubt! My first thoughts as well.
Unless you are looking for masculine end tables. If it doesn't work it doesn't matter.

My mistake. It weighs 76 lbs. - theoldwizard1Explorer II

If the specs I read are correct, I'd dump all three and buy a Champion 2000.
Champion was supposed to come out with a new 2000W generator (Model #100478) about the size and weight of the old EU2000i but it is still not shipping.
Honda bumped their 2000W to 2200W (starting) but I still think the real "sweet spot" is around 2800W-3000W starting and 2400W continuous, a true 20A @ 120V. Especially if they can package it in something only marginally larger/heavier than the little 2000 portable generators. - KrustyNomad III think I would rid myself of the one that looks like a lawnmower and keep the other two.

Ahem, of course keep the Honda, and also the small inverter gen in the middle. Easy storage for the small backup inverter or different use around your home or in the field. Most important is small storage space required.westend wrote:
Is this a test question? Extra points for lengthy dissertation?
Why not?
It is a generator thread, after all!
I'd sell that CH in a heartbeat. I'd bet there are many looking for a bargain generator for building or powering an off-grid place. List it on one of your local trading websites and watch the lineup of buyers.
I let one of those 3000W Hondas with low hours slip through my fingers at a local garage sale. I couldn't decide if it was priced right or if I really needed it. I regret that indecision.
BTW, the solar revolution is still happening. Jump on board with a new hobby of pulling wires, lugging batteries, and watching the sun make your power. It can be addictive. :)
