Generator question
I just bought a Starcraft Autumn Ridge 17rd. It has an 8000 btu window unit. Will a Honda 2000 generator run it?

The Honda EU2000i will put you out about $1000. So make sure it works before you pull the trigger. You can probably rent one to check it out. Another option is the Champion 2000 which will run you about $450 at Walmart.com. Not as quiet, not by much anyway, and it has higher surge power rating. The 2400 watt Yamaha mentioned will run you a little over $1220. You might be able to find one to rent for a few hours to check it out. If your needs grow in the future, you can buy a second one of any of these and run them in parallel and come close to doubling the output. All of these will run forever, if you take care of them.
