Thanks again guys. Back of the truck is not really an option because I have a cap. Actually just got the cap and absolutely love it from a packing perspective, but that is one limitation as I imagine it getting pretty hot in there. My trailer power cord is on the very back of the camper so if I just found or build a 6' 50amp power cord it would be simple. Regarding securing them, the rear rack is a typical rack that came from factory where the floor of the rack is mesh type. I envision getting some really short ratchet straps and criss crossing them through the handle on top and straight down. The criss cross should ensure they can't fall to the side and the tension should ensure they dont bounce off. The champion parallel kit actually has a 50amp plug so no adaptors needed.
I really only see this being needed a few times per year. Specifically on our way to music festivals where we will not have hookups when we get there.
