I've run ours while towing before, hundreds of miles. My shore power cord is pretty close to the front stabilizer so I fully stretched it out and pulled it tight. Then laid it over the jack with a wrap of duct tape to hold it. Wrapped it candy cane style around the tongue and up over the tail gate. Started the gens and hit the road.
Never a problem and keeps our 120V deep freeze frozen while traveling.
