Nice unit for an open cage hybrid type generator and the reviews at Home Depot and other websites are very good which is typical of all Champion generators. Although quieter than most open cage generators, @ 64db it will still be pretty loud. For a for a few hundred dollars more, I would opt to get the Champion 3100 or slightly larger 3400 watt inverter generator. We have the 3100 and it is much quieter and just sips gas all the while it's running our 33' TT's AC unit.
We chose the remote start version since we are accustomed to our onboard Onan's one button simplicity. To run most RV AC units reliably a 3K watt unit is recommended, some opt to purchase two 2K watt units and only bring the second genny when they anticipate AC usage during their trips. Not a bad option if you desire to spend a couple of grand. Champion also makes 2K watt inverter generators that are very quiet and can be paralleled as needed which will set you back a little over a grand for both units and parallel kit.
