I have a 10 year old Yamaha ef3000iseb. I highly recommend it. That being said, the convenience of electric start on the champion and the quietness make it hard to pass up. There is a kit to add remote start capability to my model of Yamaha but an almost $400 kit added to a $2000 generator is ridiculous, when champion has it available already on certain models at less than half the cost.
