Speaking from experience, if you opt for the Honda EU3000IS, rent one first and try it on your A/C, or just put the start kit in your A/C before you even try. It couldn't start my A/C until I did. Many others have had the same experience. It could save you some grief. Hey, if you're going to spend a couple of grand on the Honda, another $300 for a Microair Easy Start isn't a problem. Or you could buy a Champion. A little louder, not much, a lot cheaper, and it starts my 15k unkitted A/C without a hick-up.
