My wife and I like to dry camp while attending NASCAR at Talladega and Texas. We have a a 35' 50 amp Outback T.T. my question which portable generator do you recommend? Thank you for your replies.

STAY AWAY from any Chinese engines like the cheaper generators at Walmart. I learned the hard way! Bought a 5500 watt one from Walmart for about $569, ran fine for about 110 hours then wouldn't start. Took it to a local small engine repair facility and determined valves shot, piston shot, etc. I was able to get parts from the company but labor was over $250! the mechanic told me the metal in those Chinese engines is very soft and warps bad. He said do NOT bring it back again as he wouldn't work on it! I could have bought a Honda for what I have in it and know it doesn't have much life left!
