I am looking to put a generator on a folding cargo rack on the hitch of the TT when I get it, I want to also be able to run it while it's back there (good idea or bad) because I plan on building a cag...

No, that won't satisfy the "Not In My Campgroundies"* folks on THIS forum, they don't allow low cost alternatives.. Only the rich folk who can afford to drop $2K on generators are allowed here (but don't tell them that I have a open frame Chinese Knock off myself :B ).
