Getting a new tow vehicle MAYBE

We have a Silverado right now and thinking of upgrading. When you go to a GMC from a Silverado are you getting your monies worth or is it all eyewash?

I have heard the talk about GMC being upmarket. Bull. They are the same. I focus on price first. When I found a chevy -- in a color I liked better than white -- I almost bought it. Then, did a quick look and found the EXACT same equipped truck at a GMC dealer...but in white...same discounts, etc. They had the same sticker, same options. I chose GMC because the grill design looked better.

My point...they are the same. For me, i shop price/features/options. (from a personal standpoint, I don't want a highly optioned vehicle...cost for one; simplicity for another reason)


I've got a 2015 GMC and there are a couple other, minor differences. The GMC of the same trim level has a SLIGHTLY nicer interior, stitching etc. But if you compare trim level to trim level (SLE to LT, SLT to LTZ etc.) and option them the same there is no real difference. I like the grill design of the GMC better, my brother liked the Chevy one better. I like the colour I got (metallic blue) better than the Chevy blue.

Focus more on the options than Chevy/GMC.

The GMC of the same trim level has a SLIGHTLY nicer interior, stitching etc. But if you compare trim level to trim level (SLE to LT, SLT to LTZ etc.) and option them the same there is no real difference. I like the grill design of the GMC better, my brother liked the Chevy one better. I like the colour I got (metallic blue) better than the Chevy blue.
