Interesting that they state a GVWR of 4500 pounds, yet the trailer is sitting on 205/75-14 load range C tires, which likely have a load cap of 1760 each ( 3520 total ).
I'd say the first upgrade that is going to have to be done is higher capacity tires for that deal.
Maybe it's just me, but there is no way I will pull when chassis parts ( including tires ) are overloaded, and in fact, I want plenty of reserve capacity in these kinds of things.
Even with a pair of 14" load range D tires, it would be right on the limit, if loaded out close to max GVWR.
Oh, good catch on the tires. Sadly I didn´t even think of the tires. I asked them about torsion axles, weights, etc.
Hmm - something else to do when we get to the dealer. Kick the tires and look at their load cap rating.
