FYI, another little hidden gem in Indiana is Starved Hallow State Park. It's in the middle of no where, and it was by far the absolute quietest campground we'd ever been to. People were out milling around, and you never heard a single sound. It really is in the middle of no where though, so take your provisions with you, its a drive to get anywhere, but well worth the visit.
I love Starve Hollow! We will be there during the Fort Vallonia Days the third weekend in October. We go there for the Fort days every year with many, many extended family members. I think we have 14 sites this year. Just look for the quietest big group with the largest fire in the campground, that will be us.
