You want them to go up and down easily. Not too loose or too tight. This means as little as 1/8 turn on each bolt and test. Patience is the key. Bigbird65 I will adjust them a little I will be here another 2.5 months so I have plenty of time before the return trip. I would think a little silicone spray or dry graphite would be a good lube and not attract dirt.
