I wonder if camper mirrors are configured differently ?? I find the height of the mirror blocks my view of the cross-traffic on street driving. If it were a bit lower, we could see over it -- as it sits now, it requires wiggling the eyes around it to watch traffic.

I'd like to see it flipped, where it was a bit lower. Then, we could easily see over it, AND it would give a lower, clear shot along side the truck...

    Anyone else notice this ?

Yes. I bought a 2015 built in July without electric seats. My 2012 had electric seats. In my 2012 I would elevate the electric seat all the way up in order to see over the towing mirrors. With my 2015 the seats won't raise, so I need to "rubber-neck" around in order to see past the blind spots caused by the tow mirrors.

  • My 2500 is a July vehicle. Mirrors are now different and wifi is now an option through OnStar. I need to find out if I can have that added to my pre 8/14 truck. Will make it so I can go away more often.
  • N-Trouble hit it right on the head! SRW's get a different wheel and the camper mirrors are now power folding with rear facing LED's for backing up. Unfortunately they have not figured out the power extension like Ford. The mid year change is after Aug 14 build date.
