2500 burbs with 6.0 all had 3;73 AFAIK.. and can tow 9000 plus...
Your post wasn’t there when I started mine so your rant about “no one” was just one guy. Changing gearing can be a good idea if the speed you want to travel the most frequently with the given load puts your vehicle between two gears, neither of which are ideal.
I agree the tow/haul and/or downshifting is a good and free first option.
