GM assembly plant in Oshawa Ontario closing.
I just read a news article that states the GM assembly plant in Oshawa Ontario is shecuduled to close. Hmmmm, I find that surprising. It's a major plant in Canada. Been producing cars there since 19...

Too many posts with political leaders names etc in it........
Can we keep the NA's leaders names etc out of this thread. Like most elected leaders, current US one at least is very divisive in that you either like or dislike him! No in between!
With that said, as noted by many, tariffs are probably not the real reason this plant is closing. If it does make the larger RWD cars, most were for the most part sold to police departments. Most of my local ones are using the Ford Explorer equal replacement or burbs.......I do not see too many people buying the wagon versions, again, people are buying the SUV wagon for family use, or a minivan as I did when my 4 kids were in the 0-20 range.
I personally doubt this is political in nature per say......with that also.....I'm sure depending on view, politics are never too far from many decisions be it we like it or not!
