I dismantled the tailgate handle bezel on my 09 Silverado and removed the camper and mount it on the camper bumper.
Several months ago I called one particular aftermarket supplier of OEM stuff and they told me their system wouldn't work on my 09, because the 09 and older used a different plug than the 2010 and newer. It wasn't CubbyCam, and I honestly can't remember who it was.
I would really like a system I could leave on the camper, and a new camera for the truck since I NEVER reinstall the tailgate after removing the camper. Tailgate came off 71 days after I bought the truck in 2009 and has been in the closet ever since. I should call CubbyCam and see if they have something for my setup.
